Arguimbau & Company was established in the United States in 1890 with a history of over a century as agents, importers and advisors to the United States and Canadian food industry.

A leading importer of table olives and olive oils, primarily from Spain but also from other Mediterranean countries and Latin America, The Company also imports and markets a variety of Specialty Mediterranean Foods.

Arguimbau has a track record of helping companies establish themselves in the North American marketplace. (Refer to the Moroccan Case Study in this Presentation). The Company currently represents many international food producers and distributors in a variety of capacities and, in some cases, exclusively. The Company has recently restructured its operations to reflect the impact of electronic commerce and need to fully computerize its services. It has introduced a novel first-of-its-kind scanning, branding, tracking and monitoring platform which allows food distributors to track their products from initial source to final sale. Its platform conforms to new FDA regulations that now require that all food companies be able to track and identify their products from any source. Refer to section on the OTCS System for details.

MOROCCAN CASE STUDY
Arguimbau & Company was retained by one of Morocco's leading industrial families to organize a diversified live oil operation in the country and to export its products exclusively to the United States and Canada. In less than 18 months, the Moroccan company was selling over $20 million annually (from $0) to North America through Arguimbau & Company, and successfully achieved market penetration for over a decade. Similar projects are being developed in other target countries with important olive processors.
